Create a Character
Materials
This course will teach you how to design your own character makeup whilst developing the practical skills used by Special Effects (SFX) makeup artists. You will learn how to apply a bald cap and the art of applying and painting bondo prosthetics based on your character design, be it casualty, illness, creature skin textures or beauty.
You will also learn how to colour and apply your own makeup effects and create a full character to kick-start your portfolio.
Students should bring the following materials to the session:
- Notebook
- Apron / Overalls
- Messy clothes (students can expect to get very messy during the course and should wear clothing that they don't mind getting messy)
