Casualty Makeup FX

A one day course designed to introduce students to the art of Casualty Makeup FX using the practical skills developed by Special Effects (SFX) makeup artists.
You will learn how to prepare the skin for prosthetic application. Applying and colouring bondo wouds, scars and swellings as well as how to create realistic bruises. You will work in pairs to create casualty characters of your own design to kick-start your portfolio.
Students should bring the following materials to the first session:
- Notebook
- Apron / Overalls
- Messy clothes (students can expect to get very messy during the course and should wear clothing that they don't mind getting messy)
